Revelations

Just watched a documentary on the Book of Revelations.V interesting.Looks like these Endtimers are winding up for Armageddon.

The theory is that we are approaching the End Times and earthquakes, wars etc are all portents that the End is Nigh.Needless to say American evangelists are very big into Endtimes but the more dangerous aspect of this line of thinking is that it is being used as a reason to back Israel financially, support illegal settlements on the West Bank etc.

Some of the evangelicals are adamant that the Bible tells them there will be a war and that they must fight..grooaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.

Do any of these people ever cop them selves on ??

Revelations is such unbelievable tripe - its amazing to hear otherwise sane adults discussing it as if it had some meaning.It was most likely written by some guy out of his skull on magic mushrooms or whatever the Greek equivalent was in those days.
